The School for Dog Trainers has a campus location set on a beautiful 15-acre property in Utopia, TX. Situated around 80 miles from San Antonio, the Hill Country Campus is home to a variety of our most popular programs at the School for Dog Trainers, including our immersive 18-week Service Dog Trainer program which teaches you everything you need to know to become a service dog trainer.

Our Hill Country Campus is the ideal location for dog training. Much of our acreage is perfect for all types of dog training, abundant with oak trees and a creek. We have basic agility equipment available, and our barn provides ample space for indoor training. Our classroom facility is a great environment for understanding the theory behind the hands-on training offered in our programs.

Our Facility

Located approximately 80 miles west of San Antonio, our Hill Country Campus boasts a 15+ acre facility with room for outdoor and indoor dog training activities.

Our classroom is designed to provide a dedicated space for learning the theories behind dog training. This allows students to concentrate on the concepts that will build them into well-rounded, informed dog trainers – ready to develop their dog training career upon graduation.

This setup provides the perfect basis for the mixture of hands-on training and classroom theory that has resulted in hundreds of students graduating to become sucessful dog trainers.

Student Housing

Students have several housing options available for their studies at the School for Dog Trainers.

Limited housing is available on-site, and there are a variety of rental properties, AirBnB and RV parks nearby.

Student Kennel Access

At our Hill Country Campus, we have limited boarding/day kennel availability for student dogs. Day kennels are available on a first-come, first-served basis, and at the discretion of our Training Director.

Our Hill Country Campus is conveniently located in close proximity to attractions that interest our students during their downtime and on the weekends.
