Prepare

In order to make your admissions process go quickly and ensure your spot in the program of your choice, we recommend preparing for your admissions as early as possible.  We recommend that you review our current program catalog and school calendar to see which semester and campus location will best suit your schedule.

Minimum requirements for application to any of our programs:

1) Must be at least 18 years of age.

2) Completed application process

3) Proof of high school graduation, such as a high school diploma issued by the U.S. Department of Education or State recognized secondary school, a General Equivalency Diploma (G.E.D.), or  CASAS ability to benefit test may be taken before admissions.

4) Submission of High School, College & secondary school transcripts.

5) Complete Student interview

6) Background check.

7) Students wishing to use VA benefits are required to provide a Certificate of Eligibility (COE)

8) Make a deposit for the program you are enrolling in

International Students

Since 2006, we have hosted students from all over the world.  Our School for Dog Trainers has graduated scores of professional dog trainers from six continents and over 35 countries.

For international students, we offer airport pickup and transportation.

Based on our school structure, we do not issue SEVIS I-20 forms for international students and cannot assist with a student visa.  We can provide you with a letter of invitation to our school for a particular program that you can provide upon your visa appointment.

Schedule a Tour

The best way to learn more about our School for Dog Trainers is to spend some time on campus.  We invite you to visit and discover what makes our school the best place to start your career with dogs!

We offer Campus Tours at all three of our campus locations:

Our campus tours typically last one hour, which includes a tour of our campus faciltiies, as well as time to talk about programs and the admissions process. We ask that you notify us at least 24 hours in advance for any cancellation or requested changes to your scheduled tour.

Admissions

If accepted, admissions will notify students by e-mail and will receive a Letter of Acceptance. Students should review and return all appropriate admissions documents.

In order to secure a spot in a particular semester, students are required to make a $500 deposit to guarantee their seat in class.

Students are required to pay 50% of tuition on the first day of class.  The balance of tuition will be due once the student has reached the mid-point of the program.  Payments can be made by check, cash, Mastercard, Visa, Discover, American Express and PayPal.  We also offer affordable and simple financing options to cover tuition.

Stay In Touch

Once your application to our School for Dog Trainers is accepted by our admissions office, we encourage incoming students to stay in touch with us.

We regularly hold online meetings for incoming students to better prepare and further understand what to expect once they arrive at our school.  These meetings are hosted through Zoom online meeting software.  Zoom is available for desktops and as an app for mobile devices.

We also facilitate an online community with incoming students through Slack which allows those who are interested to communicate with and get to know their fellow classmates before attending our school.
