announcing THE UPCOMING GRADUATION OF CLASS 46
On January 2, 2018, a group of people entered the doors of Highland Canine’s International School for Dog Trainers for the first time. Each person had a unique back story and each person had individual goals for their future. However, one thing brought them together here…a love of dogs and desire to incorporate that love into their future careers. Over the past six months, this group of people have worked hard to get to this point and beyond as they come up on their graduation day. They have gained invaluable experience found nowhere else. They have learned to incorporate a variety of techniques into their newfound skills. And they have gained confidence in completing their goals, whether that be establishing a dog training business, applying for a specific position, or founding a nonprofit organization.
The Class of Winter 2018 will be graduating the six month Master Trainer Program. This course is designed to give students the understanding and skills to train dogs in obedience, behavior modification, service work, detection, police work, search and rescue, and more. The program at Highland Canine School for Dog Trainers incorporates real-world experiences working with clients, police departments, service dog families, and more to ensure our students are ready to take their training past school and into their careers as dog trainers.
Graduation will take place at 6 pm on Thursday, June 14, 2018 on our school grounds. Family and friends will come to extend their congratulations to the graduating class, as well as meet the classmates and staff who have been such a large part of the lives of these grads over the past six months. However, the journey does not end here. Though our students will be leaving, the staff of Highland Canine School for Dog Trainers will continue to offer support throughout the careers of these future leaders of the dog training industry!
